I'll just get right to the point.... in regards to "PRIVACY"

A homeboy of mines told me that once you get married "you give all that up"..... and then I asked another potna of mines and he told me the samething, to which I disagreed with.

So of course, I gotta come on the siccness and ask.

What do y'all think about privacy and marriage? If you get married, do you feel that you have to give up your privacy? I'm talking about stuff like passwords to email/voicemail accounts, secret passcodes to unlock your cell phone, etc....

My girl feels that if you don't have nothing to hide then your cellphone shouldn't be on lock (I already busted her looking through my pictures without permission and then she got the nerve to ask me about pinky). So my phone has been locked ever since....

But anyway is it me or are my potnas going out like suckas?

You don't HAVE to do anything simply because it is a marriage (aside from legal requirements)

It is up to you to define what you think are acceptable terms for your marriage.

Well how would you feel if your wife/fiance asked if she could have your passwords to your email/voicemail accounts? Would you give them to her? Or would you feel like that is violating your privacy?

nah I don't give up any passwords to anything, nothing!

If you don't have any privacy your relationship will be doomed, everyone needs space. Same goes to a guy not needing there wifes passwords. Have trust, be confident.

i don't see any reason why you would need to have eachother's passwords... unless it's a shared account there's no reason for that.

and it think it's rude & creepy to go through somebody else's phone... i wouldn't want somebody all in my shit like that and i don't even have anything to hide in there; it's just the principal of it.

My mind has already been made up. If I'm not married to her now, I won't be getting married.

I'm just trying to see how everyone else views marriage and privacy.

Yeah I agree.... I was showing her one picture, then she takes the phone and starts searching through the other pictures. So when I went to get my phone back because I already knew what she was doing, she closed the phone real quick because she knew she was busted.

She told me that she doesn't to marry a fan who flip flops on their teams...If you can do it to the Raiders then what about her?!!!

without trust you have nothing i believe you have to have your space but i would rather put my wife at ease because i have nothing to hide so i let her have my passwords and my phone.

now one of my boys told me he has his memory chip in his visor with all of his side beezys numbers and nudes hidden up there. but to each his own my feeling is if you found somebody you was willing to spend the rest of your life with i think everything should be an open book just to set her mind at ease like i said though everybody does need a little privacy but to each their own

Did she tell you that she went from the Rams (when they were winning and contending for titles), to the Patriots, then to the Colts. Now that's a real bandwagon fan.... but that besides the point. There's a thread that's dedicated to bandwagon fans.... why don't you go there and up the thread so we can further discuss.

Now back to the topic...

see what you need to do is go down to the beach and get yourself some sand

pour the sand into a pillowcase and tie the open end of the pillow case closed

put your phone on your bed and go and hide in your cupboard, use a spare phone to call your own phone (which is lying on the bed) continuously until your female arrives to investigate

when she picks your phone up off the bed to see who it is calling you with such urgency, leap out of the cupboard and use the pillowcase full of sand to beat her over the head until she passes out

wait until she wakes up and then shout 'BITCH DON'T EVER TOUCH MY PHONE AGAIN' while pouring sand all over her

she will now leave your phone and email account alone and you will have privacy as usual

hope this helps

Share your life, but somethings should remain private. Trust is key, I don't need her password, or need to go through her friends online etc.

And I give her, her space and room to breathe & vice versa.
