Question about LCD TVs

I got 2 thin black vertical lines on my TV, one that runs down each side... they start to fade away after the TV is on for 20-30 minutes or so, but not completely

and yes... I did google it... just wanna get a response from the sicc goons

what exactly is this? can I fix it? and is it expensive?

It's a 46" 1080P

I think your LCD Panel is going out already. My fuckin 2-year-old Sony Z 46" LCD has Panel fading in the middle already, so I put in a claim with Visa (they cover an extra year of warranty). I need to get a repair estimate from a local TV repair shop and submit that in.

Good luck Meta, don't know if you have extra warranty covered if you paid with VISA/MC/AMEX on your TV.
