am i getting ripped off for actually purchasing Adobe CS? the new Adobe Creative Suite 5 design edition that drops sometime early May. i cant believe it, but this would be my first time purchasing this or any program matter fact at this cost ($490 @ academicsuperstore.com w/student discount). i just want to be the first with hands-on on these new suites.

yep pre release is out and creative suite which includes basically everything cs5, illustrator, photoshop etc.

i fuck with CS2 myself tho.. really see no need to upgrade.

Depends if you make money of graphics you should buy it. If you just need it for school you could buy the CS4 for a better price I think. It's not that many new functions on CS5 that you gone use. There is a option to get it online you could find a stable Master Collection CS4

foreal tho. i need a copy of photoshop. i got a new G5 and dont got the programs cause i borrowed them from someone. i haven't made a cover in like 4 months. tryna get back in the game.

fuck torrents.

The one thing I cant stand on CS4 is the tabs....the fuckin windows snap together when I don't want them to. I hope they took tabs out of CS5.

The newer CS suites have online activation that frequently checks if you have a valid serial #...you have to go in and block those connections, so it's not as simple as it was before.

WELL I ACTUALLY JUST DISCOVERED TORRENTS. I KNEW THEY WERE AROUND AND WHATNOT, BUT JUST RECENTLY STARTED USING THEM. AND THEY HAVE WORKED PERFECTLY. A LITTLE BIT OF TRIAL AND ERROR AT FIRST (HAVING TO DELETE AND REDOWNLOAD, ECT.) BUT ITS ALL BUENO NOW. CS4 WORKS GOOD. I GOT MUSIC AND MOVIES OUT THE ASS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN PROGRAMS. BUT I JUST USE PIRATE BAY AND MIXTAPE TORRENT. CANT SPEAK ON OTHER SITES...
