PE is by far the greatest rap group of all time. I remember seeing them live in Norway in 91 or 93, shaking hands with Flavor Flav. It takes a nation... is the most important rap album ever. Too bad they fell off, making poor records after Fear of a black planet. Their first three albums are all classics. I belive they have hooked up with Paris for an upcoming album.
Everybody should have PE in their collection whether they are regular rap fans, gangster rap fans, jiggy, pop fans, rock fans, jazz fans or even classical music fans.

"Black people turned on themselves, but of course the main blame is to be put on the white entrepreneur for “niggerising” hip hop. They are the ones who made it look like that if you talk about jewelry, booty, party, you can get paid. As long as you don’t talk about anything political, you are fine. You give contracts and money only to these artists, put them on TV – it was systematic!"
