all depends on what firmware your psp is.....if it's newer u more less can't do shit with it

Aye, i jus bought my psp used for 160, it came with nfl street 2 and a 236mb memory stick... i have no clue how to use this bitch.. if someone can help me with some questions i have...

1)wtf is firmware? how important is it and where can i download it?
2)do i need a program to put pics and music on this thang?

any help is much appreciated

^^^ Firmware is basically the system software version your running. You can check it by going to Settings/System information. Usually any version 2.0 or higher will be difficult to run old games on. But you can get internet access with higher versions.

You need PSPvideo 9 software to load shit on you PSP. This software is crucial for converting video to the format needed to play on your PSP. I can't remember if you need it for pics and music, but video you do.
