Any way to play videos with no .THM file?

Also, do they only play MP4 videos? And do they always have to have the M4V_____.MP4 name?

I don't have a PSP, I gotta fuck with one of these at work and don't know a lot about em... If anyone knows any good sites about what you can do with em and how you can hack em that would be good too... I'm only finding garbage on Google...

there are good ass videos on google i put a whole movie on there

well sometimes to put a video you put something like this:

M4V00001.mp4 i forgot if its 5 or 4 numbers

but sometimes its some thing like this:

M4Q00001.mp4 or maybe it was MAQ00001.mp4 cant remember but you're better off searching through google or else you're gonna waste a lot of time trying to convert them

That's the thing... I HAVE to convert them... We're developing a program that converts them for you... I'm not just looking for some movies to download...

i just convert to mp4 an transfer the vid to the psp.....real easy...works fine

mp4s need to be converted a certain way to be on the psp...they also have to be named M4Vxxxxx.MP4 in capitals with the 5 x's being numbers....the MAQxxxxx.MP4 files that ricky was refering to are for the AVC files that psp's with firmware 2.0 and above can play....those AVC files are smaller & better quality than the original mp4s...you don't need a THM file, although thats the thumbnail preview that the psp displays.
