And fuck that "generation gap" bullshit of an excuse. Garbage music is garbage music. My problem isnt with lil wayne, its with people consolidating their rap music into 4 artists. Rap is a conglomeration consisting of T-Pain, Akon, Weezy, etc...Ive gone to way too many parties where the Carter 3 is playing over and over again. Everyone knows the verses and is sayin em out loud. Yet IM the weirdo cuz i take that shit off and put on UGK's "Diamonds and Wood." People are cool with just listening to what everyone else is listening to. They'd rather seem cool by knowing what's on the Carter 3 than discovering anything for themself.

i had the block is hot cd because i thought the single was cool. but then again i was like 13 and i didnt know better. i did have Too Shorts - Cocktails around the same time which saved my soul from shitty music. once i got that old school 4080 comp is was over.
