When you get the USB adapter where do you plug in the ethernet cable? Most web sites say Modem but is there a way you can plug it into the computer?

If I have a wireless Network at home can I get a Wireless USB adapter and just use that? Will it recodnise the wireless network current? Anyone useing a wireless network and have their PS2 connected to it?

you should have got the official sony network adapter...the usb plug in one isn't compatible with all the games...and you can't plug the ethernet cable into your computer, it either has to go to your router or straight to your modem of you don't have a router...if you have a wireless network you need a wireless ethernet bridge...something like this http://www.linksys.com/splash/wetplaystation.asp to hook to your ps2 modem...your best bet is to use an ethernet cable going into a router, so you can share your internet connection on the pc at the same time...if you're wireless, depending on how far your ps2 is from the router, signal streangth will weaken and you won't be getting full speed and might get some lag...
