I just got to listening to the sampler.

What are people thinking of that snippet? I think the guitar sounds a little too much like Coal Chambers "Loco"... (oops)

But I'd listen to more Prozak if he would incorporate harder guitars into his songs like he did with this one.

And is it Ill Bill yelling at the very end of War is my Destiny?? Because he sounds a lot like the dude from Fear Factory, which is a good thing.

Dude, Fear Factory is the shit live. I saw them along with Chimaira when they went on tour with Slipknot. I believe they have a new cd coming out, but i'm sure it'll be shit.

I heard the exact opposite. Someone (from the strange board actually) confirmed what I had originally suspected, which is that with all the screaming parts, the guys voice is shot to shit on the singing bits.

Not really a Machine Head fan, but I haven't heard anything from them in like... 8 years.

my decision is, that I'm looking forward to the Ill Bill album more than anything that's coming out, besides Tech.

Then again..that was the first time ever hearing of them. So I became a fan after that concert.

Download Machine Head's latest cd "The Blackening." It's been talked about as not only the best Machine Head album, but the best metal album in a very long time. And I agree.

Yeah man. It's a really good album. They were going downhill with the shit they were putting out, then this came out and took everyone by surprise.

I'm listening to some of it now.. It's cool, but I haven't been able to listen to more than 3 songs of this genre in a row since I was 16. I don't have anything against it, at all.

It's something I'd prefer to see live than buy a record of.

I have a suspicion that the screamer is gonna be the guy From KillSwitch, hes featured on the album and from the LITTLE ive heard by them it sounds similiar. But dont quote me cuz all that heavy screamo shit sounds alike to me.

Killswitch isn't screamo, and the guy who we now know is from soulfly, doesn't sound like the guy from Killswitch at all.

Nice try though.

Off topic but Killswitch is pretty fuckin sick live.. I bought tickets to last years Warped Tour cuz there wasa band i wanted to see on the list... After i bought my ticket the band got dropped from the list and i couldnt get anyone to buy it so i just went..

LOl i bet KIllswitch wont be back there anytime soon They kept dissing all of the emo kids and bands that played before them (they headlined)

They were like "If theres a emo kid next to you punch him in the nuts... Not like hes gonna use them n e way"

Then the other dude in the badn was like " Im gonna kill ALL of you emo kids, tear you to piecies and use your bones to make one GIANT emo toilet so i can SHIT on you everyday"

ANd you see all the emo kids in the crowd slowly (and a few fast ones) slip to the back

That's awesome. I remember when the Warped tour used to be a punk show. THOSE were the days. I used to want to go to that shit to see NOFX when I was young... Now the warped tour is buuuuuuuullshit.... Although MC Chris will be there this year.

thats hillarious, I know a local band here that did a song called "Girl Pants are for Girls" about emo music, it was pretty funny and they used to play it live all the time. The same thing would happen though, all of the emo kids would slide to the back except for a couple of them who would try to play it off.
