Greetingz,

To all those that use sound modules/keyboards with Protools, are yall familiar with the term midnam?

Basically i think I figured out that for Protools to recoginize the banks and patches of my modules/keyboards I have to create or download the proper midman for it..

Anyone know any good spots to find these on the web, preferably for EMU productz.

I dont know about midiman or protools but for cubase sx you need whats called patch name scripts. and they can be found all over the net just search for them. by the way does anyone have a script for the emu mk-6?

I got INS file for MK-6 for Cakewalk but I dont think that will help you.

Yeah I was looking for something like that but I'm running on Windows XP and it only works on Macs... Here's a page about it and how to make your own:

There's several little programs people have made to generate the scripts for you. Most of them work pretty well. Just do a search on the web and it should come back with atleast a couple.
