If you get few responses, this should show you the ignorance of many Californians. I bet people didn't know about the Proposition where if you voted for it, it pretty much says the Cops can take over Cali! :devious: I'm one of those stupid ass mother fuckers, that didn't even bother to register. I'm also one of those people that'll complain about our government, and not Vote. I'm ashamed I didn't register. But next year.

Do any of you believe in any way that your day-to-day life will be any better based on the passing or not passing of a proposition?

I'm not trying to come across as bieng hella smart but what exactly happens differently with your life?

For instance if the proposition would have passed for the cigarette tax, we all would have just went to TJ to buy our cigarettes, or TJ would have came to us. So who the fuck cares if california would have decided to tax smokers 3 bucks.

I guess my point is regardless of a proposition or laws, morality and ethics is still in effect and on top of that youre going to live how youre going to live, regardless of a law......

i have yet to see anything proposed, ever.... without some sort of loophole. so whats the point? looks like everythings one big circle, to me.

can anyone give me a non-fictional situation where a proposition passed and your quality of life was improved due to it? like maybe you got raped and they passed a rape law/proposition and it helped you? i just want an example, because i dont see how any proposition changes my day to day life. how does any of that even come into play?

maybe voting is a situational thing, and if i ever come across something i feel strongly about (legalization of marijuana) i might vote. I might be able to say that the compassionate marijuana laws might have made it easier for me to get quality herb at all times.
