I'm looking for veterans in the service of mixing and mastering. I've been mixing for about 7 years but I don't have the quality anywhere remotely close to what I desire, although it doesn't sound bad, the industry touch isn't there. Basically I'm looking everywhere, and keeping my mind open in the process, I have about 5 companies right now on my list. I'm looking for some independent engineers who do professional work on a daily. If you know of anyone or you yourself have this skill, PM me with your rates/price per song and/or services/packages. I would also like to hear some samples of your work if it is available along with your experience. I will not do business without any proof of quality. The EP will be 6-8 tracks to give you an idea for a price quote.

Can you post up some audio for us to hear? That would really help us in deciding on where you need to take it. If you want THAT kind of sound it's going to have to be mixed on THAT type of console in a good room, by a good engineer. Dump to reel and flown back in with a dat or 24 bit cd as master. If it were my album thats what I would do. At prarie sun you'll pay $650 for ten hour blocks and thats on an ssl 4000eg. Soundworks is charging 750 (10 hour blocks) to mix on the latest ssl with the latest pro tools rig.


I've worked at both studios and suggest one or the other depending on needs. When it comes to mastering YOU need to be present. Yes some people get the material mastered without being present but imho its something you would want to be involved with.

THAT FAGGOT (THE GUY AT SPARKS) HAD US IN THE LAB FOR 2 AND A HALF HOURS STRAIGHT TALKIN ABOUT ANALOG IS BETTER THAN DIGITAL. 2 AND A HALF HOURS WORTH OF BULLSHIT AND AFTER WE LISTENED TO HIS BULLSHIT WE ASKED HIM TO PLAY A TRACK. THE FAGGOT SAID "NO I DON'T HAVE THE TIME" BUT PROCEEDED TO TALK FOR 30 MORE MINUTES.

This is true. I've been to the spot and the guy does good work.


Also@ vince I got the email about the fantom x. I called the guy and told him I would be at his spot in 45 minutes. He said no to wait until he got off work at 5:30. I told him I would be at his home @7 pm. He gave me faulty directions and I got lost. When I got back home I checked my email. He sent me another one with the correct directions (without me asking) and told me to call him at home. He never gave me a home # only his work. Anyway I left numerous messages and the guy kept apologizing. What a faggot.


But anyway whats up with those beats for that project man? I need something from you asap. Too many people are in my ear about this shit and I don't have enough material to give out to everyone.
