Problems with Strange Music Store

Okay, so I wanted to get the MLK package in advance on Strange Music's website last night, so I put in my credit card number and everything (which I never do) and all the other information and it says that it did not go through because the address was wrong. I looked at it, and the address was right, so I tried to run it through again. Again, no luck. Finally, I tried it one more time and it didn't work so I just said "Fuck it" I guess I'm not meant to have it. I just got home today and I check my balance and $54 or so is taken out of my account to Strange Music. I thought, it didn't go through, so what the hell is going on? I sent a message last night about the problem and haven't got a response, then I sent one today about the credit card issues and I don't expect to get a response. Can anyone help me out or give me Travis' # or whoever else who runs its' #? I don't think that I'm ever gonna try to buy something from them ever again, or even online for that matter. :( Guess I Shoulda listened to my mommy. lol
Any help would be greatly appreciated

you shouldn't have tried twice, same thing happened to me when i ordered everready. said it didn't go through so i was like fuck jus incase i ain't tryin again. so i was jus gonna wait and get it localy, but sure enough bout 2 months later it showed up and didn't noticed they had charged my card for it. so i'm guessing ur order will be processed still but probably like 3 of them. jus keep tryin to get ahold of them i'm sure htey'll fix it up for ya man.

i emailed them and got a response back in less than 24 hours so i dont know what to tell you. same thing happened to me but ill take my two autographed copies anyway. take it as a sign to spread the siccness!!!

tech posted a bulletin on his myspace and it had said that so many people hit the site up that the server crashed and they appoligize for it....so it was a comp error

They won't respond to emails. At least they never respond to mine. Just look the phone number up on yahoo yellow pages. And keep calling until you get a hold of some one and they will fix it.

Yeah I had the same shit wit my CCard! I sent them an E-Mail and they came back straight away, got it sorted and now my order is on it way!!

Same thing happened to me man when I was buyin clothes dude! took like 150 dollars outta there, I was broke for 2 weeks, after that, it would've been worth it if i had gotten the clothes. But nah. Had to arrange that shit with my bank and everything.

I have a problem with the order on SM Store too and it's kind of you guys that offered to help. But which of those email addresses is the proper for somebody to send? I would expect some kind of an official response from Strange Music either through this forum or therealtechn9ne.com. I have tried to order 3 or 4 times and I don't know if I am already charged or what?

The money is likely being held on your bank or credit account. Every time an attempt is made it can still obtain the authorization. Strange wont submit the authorization to their merchant provider and get paid though because your address didnt match and it would be a liability for them to mail you something to an address that isnt on your credit card.

Call your credit card company and they will fix your address. I doubt they will drop the authorizations though. WHen I worked at citi we only would if the merchant called. SO have strange call and drop the authorization or they can use the one that was approved and they can submit a new order internally. Thats usually how business works with point of sale stuff. I worked in that industry for 8 years. At least the computer software and banking side.


As much as some of you may feel wronged, it was likely your own faults your orders didnt go through. Your address might even be right on your credit card but the card could be getting rejected for suspect use and many other things. Strange cant give you that info and can only kick back a generic address fail or something like that. Depending on your POS setup for your website, decline errors are very generic and usually wrong from what I have seen.
