problems with nba 2k7?

Are you going into any other modes before entering Association?
Are you trying to load a saved Association file?
Try to explain the problem in steps (detail is important) and I'll see if I can find an answer for you. Unless it's just 'Go into Association = Crash' then it might be a disc or PS2 problem..

It's not the disc, it works in every other mode. But usually when I try it....I start my PS2, let it load the game, then I let it do the loading of the vip shit...then hit start...then go to load, association, and then I go to the calendar and simulate everything up to the point of my game, and when I had 2 vip profiles loaded, it wouldn't let me play, it kept on freezing. Although, I tried it later with 1 and it worked. So I guess I just can't play anyone, except it did work for a couple games....so I don't know what's up. I had to take apart my PS2 today like 3-4 times...I blew out dust...then had this dilemma, so I put in ncaa 2007 and it worked...so I took it out, went and returned the game....came back, and the fucking tray wouldn't open for shit....so after a bunch of fucking around with it, I finally got it to work.....
but it was just weird cause it worked for 2 games, with 2 vip's loaded....then it all of a sudden stopped....and I deleted everything and started fresh as well...and got a new memory card....
