problems downloading patch for 360 from xbox.com

im trying to get that update patch for the backwards compatible games and while it loads to a cd, it doesnt work on the console, it just keeps saying that the disc is unreadable..any of u guys get that too? let me know if u had the same problem and what worked..

u mean like playing regular xbox games on 360?...i didnt know you could do that...the few i have dont work on my 360

yeah u download a patch from the main site and burn it to a blank cd, then u put it in the 360 and it auto loads it on there..

u can also take the ethernet cable from ur modem and plug it into the back of the 360..sign up for xbox live and get the silver edition, which all it is is a free 30 day trial and it cancels itself..then u can do all the updating from that..

not all xbox games are compatible, but like i said just check the xbox site for the lists cuz they get updated every few months..
