Pro Tools/Cubase Question

is it possible to open a Cubase session in Por Tools...i have a beat that i made in Cubase with audio and MIDI files and i wanted to know if i could transfer the files from my computer to a computer with Pro Tools install and open the session there...

Export the Cubase session as an OMF file and then use DigiTranslator to convert it to Pro-Tools.

I have never messed with Cubase but I have always found that exporting wav files to be a very easy method of transfering between programs.

That works ok if you just have audio but he has midi also.

if protools can import midi files then you can save the cubase file as midi and then load it up on protools...

but i dunno...

The program will run you around $400-$475. I don't know if it will run on systems with LE (audio media III, m-box, digi 001, digi 002 and digi 002R) but I know it runs on 24 mix and HD.

I KNOW CUBEVASE gOT A 742 PAgE MANUAL PLUS 500 MORE PAgES OF HOW THE VST INSTRUMENTS WORK AND HOW TO gET STARTED AND AL THE MIDI SET UP. LOgIC HAS 542 PAgES AND I HAVEN'T FUCCED WITH DIgI OTHA THEN THE FACT THAT IT COMES WITH PRO-TOOLS.

I have found the documention thats is in the DigiDesign program often has the answers...much more info than the paperback manual.
