What do you think about the rosters for the Pro-Bowl this year? I thought that they are pretty well picked.. but I know I would replace a few people for a few people if I could. Who do you think should have made it that didn't and who do you think shouldn't have made it that did?
I was very pleased to see that Hines Ward made the squad. He definitely deserved it, not only because of his skills as a receiver... but also for his blocking ability. Damn, he's not a huge guy but he's definitely one of the toughest receivers I can think of.
I was also glad to see that Ladanian Tomlinson made it. He's still young... but in a couple of years, he'll be on top of the game (in my opinion)
One person that I can think of that I really wanted to make the team but didn't is Clinton Portis. The backs that they did choose are all very worthy, but it'd be nice to see another rookie on there.. and my man's been tearing shit up.
Another opinion of mine.. which a lot of people disagree with, is replace Eric Moulds with Peerless Price. Statiscally, Moulds did have a better season.. but BARELY, and overall I think Price was the better receiver this year.
And if I had it my way... Amos Zeroeue would be on that roster. Damn Bettis needs to call it quits. I still love the guy, but enough is enough and Amos is obviously the better back. I'd have to say that out of any RB in the NFL... Amos has the best open-field moves hands down, if only the line could open up some more holes for him
(Yes, I'm from Pittsburgh... Steelers are about to surprise everyone on Monday night :cheeky: )
