PRIDE Announces Fighters for New Year's Eve Card

While no match-ups were announced for PRIDE's New Year's Eve card, Dream Stage Entertainment on Thursday revealed a murderer's row of mixed martial artists scheduled to compete Dec. 31 at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo.

Each current PRIDE champions Fedor Emelianenko, Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson and Takanori Gomi,one former king Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, six Grand Prix champs Emelianenko, Silva, Henderson, Gomi, Mirko Filipovic and Mauricio Rua,as well as fan favorites Mark Hunt, Josh Barnett, Hidehiko Yoshida and Kazuyuki Fujita will participate.

Sounds nice, but it they are all fighting butter-cups then the card will be useless.

As newb as it sounds, I am really looking forward to Ortiz vs Liddell 2. Been an Ortiz fan since day 1 and I just have to see how it turns out.

Pride always has good new years shows though. I'm just not going to hype over this one until the actual matches come out.
