Prices on mixtape cds?

I'm curious (not complaining) why are mixtape cds the same price as a regular cd? I just had my boy pick up my copy of that done deal cd and it was 15 bones for it.

This is just a thought:

If the music is mostly all instrumentals of other artists music and the only difference is the lyrics being spit. Where is the justification in charging a price of $15 for a cd?

where did you pay 15 for it? ive been giving it to everybody cheaper so they sell it for cheaper, Like tower Stonestown 10.99,
Amoeba, 10.99 or 11.99 not sure people are doing their own mark ups and we are still getting less, thats the game tho, Ive given out 300 just thru Kmel radio call ins and street teams!

I dont know I just got my "Strong Armed Robbery Mixtape" (thanks Vamps) and not only is it only 39 min long but it doesnt sound mastered, the traycards were printed on paper and the CD is a CDR. It cost $13

In terms of quality of the actual music it aint too bad.

A little off subject but the delinquents mix tape is pretty good. I found it used I was really surprised by it. The song with snoop dogg and warren G is tight as fuck.
