preorders been filled for about 6-8th months now. i reckon

Doubtful. No store that I know of has even began taking official pre orders. I am on some stupid call list at gamecrazy, but I didnt put any money down. Basically they call me when they start taking pre orders. Alot of chains want hard counts (or as close as possible) to the number of systems they will get before taking pre orders. I worked at gamestop for the 360 launch and alot of people were disappointed for a few months until we could fill all the pre orders. I quit like a month after that because I found a better job, but I went back in like February or March and they were still filling pre orders.

i hear sony is taking pre-orders DIRECTLY. you will get them shipped the same days the stores do.

method of payment? your house. they prefer that you send the deed with all paperwork, but if you must, they will except the actual house. please, one door at a time. if you rent, they will still except the house, but the conflict will be between you an the landlord, sony excepts no blame in the situation
