preferred gif program

whats everyone choice for making gifs like these.... im tryin to make some clips out of basketball(700mb) and dave chappelle(400mb). ive tried a couple programs but they all suck... ive also tried the search on here but it sucks so thanks to whoever

You cant open mpeg's with imageready, therefore its pointless if you want to make a gif from a video, which is what he's trying to do i assume.

Try jasc animation shop, its probably the best i've come across but it freezes when opening too many frames.

if yer lookin for easy and quick...

try ulead gif animator

itll import AVI's into a GIF for u

youll need to open the movie in a video edit prog, crop out the part u want, then render it as an uncompressed AVI. also itll work better if u render it with a lowered framerate, like 10fps
