Continuing from the Unreleased Death Row Catalogue Thread:

There were rumors Dre having an album on Death Row around the 95/96 time period, but unfortunately he had some issues with the label at that time and had to leave.

I have compiled a list of possible tracks that I think would have been on Dre's second album if he hadn't gone through the BS with Death Row.

"The Chronic 2: Poppa's Got A Brand New Funk"
"Been There, Done That"
"Keep Them Heads Ringin" feat. Truth Hurts
"California Love" with or without Pac (there was a rumored version recorded with just Dre on the track)
"Natural Born Killaz" feat. Ice Cube
"East Coast/West Coast Killaz" feat. Group Therapy
"Fuck You" feat Snoop Dogg & Devin The Dude
"Fame" feat. RC and King Tee
"Please"
"Got Me Open" feat. Hands On
"Sexy Dance"
"Funky Flute" feat. Jimmy Z
"Shittin on the world" feat. Mel Man
"187 (Deep Cover Remix)" feat. Snoop Dogg
"U Better Recognize" feat. Sam Sneed
"Puffin on Blunts and Drankin Tanqueray" feat. Tha Dogg Pound and Lady of Rage
"Lil Ghetto Boy Remix" feat. Snoop Dogg
"Xxxplosive" (Part II version with Mel Man)

"Express Yourself" Bonus old NWA Track

I heard that "California Love" was originally supposed to be with Dre and Ice Cube, but Suge knew he song would blow and wanted Pac to be the leader of Tha Row so he "punked" Dre into givin' it to Pac. How much truth there is to that though I ain't sure.

Why would they put express yourself by NWA on there?

especially if it was Chronic 2?

Dr. Dre actually says a line on Express Yourself...

"I don't smoke weed or sess, cos its known to give a brother brain damage"

I dont think that sentiment wouldnt fit in with the rest of the usual dank paraphenalia

Not sure about whether "California Love" was gonna feature Cube...I DID hear a story about "Can't C Me" being designed for Cube to flow on by himself (it would've appeared on HELTER SKELTER), but Tupac got it instead...

PEACE!
