If I was a Cowboys fan, I'd say no, because I think they need those two picks in the first round to fill a couple positions, and the RB situation that they have is pretty solid; they'll be able to land a solid RB with one of those picks, and be in a better overall position than if they trade Barber and the picks.

I can't say much more, I agree with iller and enserio.

They will get much more bang for the buck with 2 first rounders than they would with mcfadden and his #1 overall salary.

No I wouldn't do it. Miami is trying to get over... and McFadden is not Adrian Peterson. No way bro.... Dallas should keep Barber and their 1st round draft picks.

i would have to think about it for even 1 of those picks and barber but both picks? its a no brainer. jones would be a damn fool to make this trade. i cant believe an nfl franchise would even contemplate this move.

1 thing does make it practical...

Mcfaddens Salary is going to be less than paying 2 1st rounders and extending mb3

Ok some of yall may have heard about this rumor already but I wanna see what folks think if it does happen!! The Cowboys & Dolphins are negotiating a deal for the Dolphins to send the #1 overall pick, notice I said overall lol (inside joke) to the Cowboys for the Cowboys 2 1st round picks #22 & #29 along with M. Barber! With the first overall pick the Boys would take D. McFadden RB from Arkansas (compared alot to AP)! What do yall think of this possible deal? Is it a good move for the Boys and of so what reason and vice versa!! Now I know alot of folks hate the Boys on here but come with some real knowledge and let us know what yall think with all hatin to the side!! Just curious to know cause I myself am still stuck on if I would do this or not! Im not sure yet!! Anyway come on in and holla about this!! Got Em!!
That would be a weak ass trade on the Cowboys part & I aint NEVER heard about McFadden being compared 2 AP. He aint even on AP's level coming out of college. He's tight but he aint that damn tight.

Good lookin on the opinions yall! It seems the majority doesnt think this is a good move on the Boys part! I was on the fence but now I am leaning towards no myself! I am just so hgh on McFadden so thats what makes it tough on me!! And yes McFadden is similar runner to AP! Whether he is as good or better in the pros is to be determined, but he is compared as for the power and speed and the type of runner he is!! He damn sure aint like wack as Bush!! hahah!! Keep the opinions on this comin! Good to hear what folks think!! Got Em!!

You must not watch too much college...he was the best thin since sliced bread last year....and Tebow.

There is MUCH more hype surrounding McF then there was around AP. AP's hype deminished when he got injured his sophmore year and no one thought he would be the same. In all honesty, he somewhat "snuck" into the league. It was no surprise he was coming out, but it seems as if few people cared. With McF, he was a front runner for the Heisman two years in a row. He is much more hyped becuase he shares runs with another 1000 yard rusher and he still ran for nearly 2000 yards. He also has thrown for TD's and caught TD passes. He is a better physical specimen than AP and is stronger.

Trust me, McF is AS GOOD as AP if not better comin out of college...but we wont know how good or BAD he is, until he actually gets in the NFL.

...why would i have a heart attack? it would suck to see him go but what can i possibly do? Im not the only one that loves watchin this guy rip it up for the BOYS'...shit the cowboys forum im always on, the whole first page is just MB3 talk.
because all year even though ur whole team did great shit u only had barber in ur sig and even when ur season eneded u repped it for a lil and prolly changed it since this rumor happened. u know u will have a heart attack if it happens and i guess i dont blame ya. i would have a heart attack if we lost belichick or brady.

Once again u know your college shit football shit!! Yea folks that say he aint on AP's level especially in college are trippin! McFadden will be the truth thats why I am hard pressed on what I think of this trade!! He is a cant miss prospect only thing that would stop him is injury and that goes with anyone!! Well see what happens, but they were talkin about some other senarios earlier today that sound a lil better than this one so well see!! Got Em!!

^^^^ cuz he's my favorite player, not just on the cowboys, but in the league in general, so why not rep him in my sig? i switched it up to deion cuz he was good back in the day and he always be crackin me up on NFL Game day or total acess with that hold it up shit. I wont have a heart attack becuz i know were gonna get a good RB if we do, its just a stupid move to give up 2 first round picks and barber.

Well we'll just have to see.... McFadden doesn't look like he's going to be all that. Probably another Reggie Bush. Peterson makes McFadden look like an amatuer (sp)

man sometimes I wonder if you really watch football, or just read some shit here an there to come on here an argue. McFadden did alot for Arkansas, an he will make a great pro

I would not do this trade if I was Dallas. Barber is thier key to winning right now. now if it was for Julius I would pull the trigger.

That would be one of the stupidest trades ever.

What they should do is cut Julius Jones for the mere fact that he didn't do a goddam thing for my fantasy team this year.
