do any of yall record without it ? cuzz sometimes i feel my shit sound cleaner when its not in the way....but when i be spittin da mic be gettin wet up...lol....will it hurt the mic if its gets spit in the center part of the mic...

Use a popper stopper and learn how to EQ your vocals so they sound good.

And yes, your mic will eventually fuck up if you keep spittin' on it.

One time this dude was over and we were both on a track, he rapped first, then when I went to drop it, the pop filter smelled like shit. Like the dude just finished suckin' on a Shit-cicle LOL! I couldn't even drop my verse, it was horrible!
