Anyone Else annoyed that Krizz sings on every other song...on every cd strange puts out? I mean, some of it is cool.... But a lot of his chorus/hooks are Retarded and make the tracks sound at a way lower grade then they should be.

Don't get me wrong, I think Krizz kills it when he's actually in the song doing a verse. But ever since Everready, hes been getting more and more annoying trying to sing on every cd.

Im sure theres alot of Krizz nutt hangers in here.... So flame away.

P.s... You should have had more than 1 fucking verse on misunderstood. C'mon 1 verse? Fuck.

Hey, what can ya say...he's the Nate Dogg or T-Pain of Strange Music guys. He's the only one that can actually SING. When Tech "sings", they usually add a lot of an effect. That is normal for rappers that try to sing. Tech is better than most rappers that try to sing though. He can harmonize. But, Krizz can SING. You guys would have a lot more respect for Krizz if you actually knew all the different shit the guy does. He switches his voice up like nobody's business!!! I agree that sometimes they rely on him a bit 2 much and it is overdone...but sometimes he goes really hard and shines like the star Krizz is. Low was a good example. He still has it.

I still think a Krizz R&B album would be better than any albums he has put out. He grew up a choirboy and I think his raps sounded forced. His singing comes naturally. His singing is way better than anything else hes put out..

I agree he's on a lot of tracks but he's DOPE and he's good at dropping the hooks. No he's not a Nate Dogg but he's the hookman for Tech & Strange so let him do his thing.

I also think I'm one of the few who thought Vitiligo was > than Genius.

Everyone has to have an opinion, it is normal, but I think nobody can do better a choir Kaliko, in any song, whether Smilin Face, and Welcome 2 The Midwest, or Far Away, nobody in the music industry today has Krizz Kaliko's versatility, many mythical songs and would be nothing without the Krizz choirs, so no, in my point of view I do not think Krizz Kaliko must stop.

Respective views on the disc R & B I totally were promptly Kaliko, not stop making songs with rap, but if you should try to make a record that only full in the singing.

Sorry for my English but everything is translated with a translator, I'm from Spain.

Greetings.

i guess i'm the only one who doesnt mind? he's great so why not put him on the tracks? doesnt bother me at all

for those of you who dont want it though, you may be in luck because Irv can sing too

so we might get 2 singers singing hooks as opposed to one

I think Vitiligo was a more solid release than Genius. But the handfull of songs I consider strong from Genius are better than all the songs on Vitiligo IMO. Also....Nate Dogg=Hookman....correct? lol

I think he would be able to make a successful mainstream push if he were to make an entire album that sounded like this:

I don't view Krizz as a rapper. He is an R&B artist to me.

EWW!! I hate this shit from Krizz. This is def the songs I skip right on through on Genius. I was down with "Beautiful You Are" from Vitiligo...that was as much as I can stand though.

Krizz has been rapping for a long time. Well before he met Tech. He wasn't just at ROC's house singing. I respect your opinion bro, but I think Kaliko is much better than alot of main stream artists on the mic.

In regards to this thread title.

The cat has a deal with Strange music. If an artist on the label wants him to sing a hook then what should he do? When you are a talented artist (especially for an independent) you want to be on as much material as possible because you never know what this public is gonna hear and like, or what is gonna blow up, but you definitely want to be on it. He ain't forcing his way onto songs, he can't. He is an artist and he keeps working when he can work in between albums. Why hate?

Krizz is an amazing artist to me, his singing is great his rapping ability is great as well....... but to remain on topic i have felt that krizz is on way to many hooks, thats nothing against Krizz though..
