i got some shit called winfixer 2005 that keeps poppin up on my comp. i ran spyware stormer, microsoft's antispyware, and ad-aware se and none of them worked. shit's annoying and potentially dangerous according to other sites. when i search yahoo, they show sites that supposedly removes this but u gotta register, no freebies. i'm afraid if i register, then it still wouldnt remove winfixer 2005 cuz tha other spywares that i have don't remove it, and i'll be out some cash. can somebody PLEASE help. thanks. fold.

I dont know if this is going to work but sometimes my anti virus and spyware software doesnt always pick up all the shit on my computer but if I run an update then re-scan it picks up on shit it missed earlier. So that would be my suggestion is to run an update.

JUZ GO TO YOUR CONTROL PANEL AND THEN GO TO PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE. IT SHOULD SHOW SOMETHING LIKE "SYSTEM RESTORE" THAT YOU CAN CLICK. THEN YOU JUZ PICK AN EARLIER POINT THAT YOU KNOW YOUR COMPUTER WAS WORKING ALRITE. I HAD THAT SAME SHIT YOU WERE TALKIN BOUT, I DID THAT AND IT SEEMS TO BE GONE.

man i always format my hard drive every few months, most ppl have a dvd burner so in a few hits you can back up all your files, delete everything off your comp and start a-fresh. Its the only possible way to keep your comp running in top shape if you connect to the internet.

It can be a pain in the ass to re-install all your programs again but i usually do this twice a year and its well worth it.
