Basically you have two major parties in the American political system; Republicans and Democrats.

Republicans are shit-sucking, self anal-penetrating filth 97% of the time.

Democrats are AIDS-infested, babykilling abominations 90% of the time.

The choice is yours.

Florida and Iraq were the tip of the iceberg: under Bu$hCo the office of the presidency has become a shadowy, scandalous office, likened to a secret police. Bush and Cheney have cowed the white house press corps, threatening critical reporters with no coverage, and undergone secretive and under-the-table deals on nearly every policy area they undertake in.

You can vote Independent or Green - California is basically assured Kerry, so your vote is not a major deciding factor.

I would prefer the independant Nader or David Cobb from the Green party as president - but the least worse of the candidates is Kerry. The Green party's major selling point is, of course, the environment. Kerry is years ahead of Bush on the environment, but the greens are much better than Kerry.

There is a good comparison of Green Party stances on issues.

Thats whats so fucked up about the system. You get basically 2 choices to choose from and they are both bad. You basically end up picking the lesser of 2 evils based on your beliefs of what "evil" is. Any other choices out there stand no chance of actually being elected into office,so if you vote for them, its considered a wasted vote. I think no matter who gets elected into office, shit is gonna be all bad for the people....

And even *lower* lower taxes for rich people.

the poor dont pay taxes
They don't pay "income" taxes. They still get fucked in payroll deductions, state taxes, and lack of ability to get tax breaks through accountants and various other schemes by which rich people pay proportionately less taxes than them.

we belive in lower taxes for all
