N.B.D./Playas Association IV

N.B.D., In all honesty I wrote the review quick to post it, I wasn't trying to leave you off or imply that your song wasn't tight. There are at least 25 artists on the compilation, I put overall the album is a solid record. The songs I mentioned in the review were songs to me that stood out from eachother. The album is not like any Playas Association of the past. Its has gangsta sh*t, club sh*t, playa sh*t, white country soundin sh*t, a girl even has a song on their. This to me is a lot more what compilations should have, a variety. Your song was a solid contribution to a solid record. I tried to write the review impartial so people would have some introduction to the album. My label has 6 of 14 songs on the album. I mentioned only one of our songs and that was the one with me, Frost, Jay Tee, and Messy Marv. In my opinion the best song on the album is from Dela Vega "Spanish Rain". Due to the diversity of the album the best songs will vary depending on what style of music the critic likes. I just want to let you know that I wasn't singling you or anybody else out by not mentioning you, or your song. Most people who review records don't care if they offend people infact I would say sometimes they try to. If i thought your song was weak I wouldn't have replied to this. In 5 years, I have been left off of ads, reviews, interviews, flyers, and almost anytime I get on a California record I get left off in some way due to the fact that I'm not from Cali, I'm from Washington. I have had my music reviewed and smashed on by East Coast critics, or Die Hard Bay Fans , and at times even a view places overseas who favor East Coast music. They have given other records who overall weren't on my level better reviews. Should I be mad? No, this is the game. I'd rather have my album being reviewed, then not being reviewed at all. Your working hard and doing your thing I see that, I was just pushing the album were both on.

Its All Love

Its cool, I just wanted yall to know what my intentions were, situations like that sometimes escalate. I recently saw your ad in Showcase or murder Dog, that was the first time I heard of you. I didn't even put it together when I listened to the album that the ad and the song on the record were the same. I'd like to chop it up with you and see what all you got going, what you've done, etc. I'm a cool cat known for networking. Feel free to holla at me.

Bullet
