Definitely picking up that Northwest Hustlin once I get some money together, the homies NBD and Stizon Skrilla are on there ripping shit up. Good to see you on here Bullet, you should check out my homies Mo-X and Lil' G http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/456/mo-x__lil_g.html
The song Angry Soul features Sarkastik, How Many has D-Sane putting down a heated beat, let me know what you think maybe we could work on something in the future. Whats up with your boy Khevlar he has been running his mouth talking shit and proclaiming himself the "illest in the Northwest"? Im not hating just wondering what the deal is. By the way im really feeling Jazz, guy has an amazing voice. Keep doing your thing.

In Rersponse-Playas Association IV Northwest Hustlin

There is a lot to reply to so I will try to cover everything, I agree N.B.D. did their thang for sure on this record, I honestly can say overall I feel every artist contributed a decent a song, their are so many styles on their to check out, its hard to grasp them all with one listen. I have been playing the album all the way through for a week straight.

To be honest i had never heard Sarkastic's music until I heard "The Hostile Takeover". I was impressed, dued was spittin some gems, it was so hot it was like he was damn near murdering the beats. As for D-Sane, I like him as a person, and respect what he has and is doing for Seattle Hip-Hop. He is truely an asset.

My label consists of myself Bullet(Bellevue), Todd G(Eugene), Khevlar(Monroe), Kay Kay, Jazz, & Arjay(are all from Portland). Shaolin is no longer with us but he is from (Tri-Cities). In some ways we are new but in many were not.

Shaolin has a solo album, Todd G used to have his own label. They put out 2 records including Northwest Game that is well known in Oregon. The Bullet & Shaolin album is my 3rd. Jazz & Arjay don't have solo projects, however they have both been featured on big albums including Mac Dre Is The Name, N2Deep The Rumble, N2Deep The best Of, Jay Tee of N2Deep So Cold, and Eastside Records as a whole has been on 3 out of 4 Playas Association compilations. The 2 unheard artists is Kay Kay & Khevlar, both of which have solo songs on Playas Association IV as an introduction to both of their debut albums that are done. We have a company van, a website, and we recently were able to re-release the Bullet & Shaolin album through Bayside. We have been a label for just over 5 years, 2 of which we spent working with the very sucsessful Jus Family Records & Cool Nutz. The new Bullet & Shaolin was the beginning to putting more focus on Eastside Records & the other artists on the label beside Bullet.

Khevlar is 20 years old & from Monroe. He has been rapping for just over a year. He is just now seeing the real rap game, everything before was him on the internet trying to prove he's the greatest rapper. People like Mr Dog, D-Sane, Cool Nutz, etc can speak about the greatest rapper, for they all know the greatest rapper is backed by good business. He made a lot of comments to a lot of people not understanding the difference between an accomplished rapper, and someone who can rap. Khevlar wants to be heard and goes to far to be noticed, he needs to let his music speak for itself and now is trying to do that. Overall he is a good dued and the people who know him know that. However that is not to say that he hasn't said things that I personally or professionally don't agree with. He Has! I may not agree with some of things he does say, but I do stand behind his talent and music.

Jazz has been with me since the beginning and has a very unique voice. I'm actually working on building his mp3 site so people can hear some of the material he has done with other people as well as some new solo stuff he is working on. Arjay is my other R&B cat. He is currently serving 18 months in Sheridan Federal Prison in Oregon. However he does have a solo song on The hostile Takeover, he is on the new Playas Association IV (twice), and he will again have new solo songs on the upcoming Eastside Riderz album as well as the new Bullet album Dedication & Desire which is finished.

Infact make a note the new Bullet album features Mac Dre, N2Deep (5 times), Frost(twice), Latino Velvet, Messy Marv, Eastside Riderz, and ofcourse all Eastside artists. It also hosts production from Bosko, Johnny Z, Funk Daddy, Philly Blunt, Big Ice & Oral Bee, Wolverine, and Torrey Ward.

When did you sign Big Ice and Oral Bee? Them my folks from the U.K.
I just talked to him and he mentioned nothing about being on Eastside Records?
What happened to Bobby J.? Did that not work out?
And why you putting Arjay's business out there like that homie? I don't think there was a need to let people know that he is behind bars. Holla.

Big Ice & Oral Bee our apart of Eastside Riderz the group album "Welcome 2 The Eastside". I'm not sure why he would or wouldn't mention it, I'm just making sure that they both recieve their credit. Ice is someone I work with as well as a new friend. Feel free to discuss his trip to the U.S. I'm sure he'd be happy to tell you about Portland. As for Bobbie J, I simply didn't have the time that I thought i would have to offer assistance to her career. She is talented, and I wish her the best. I have had problems getting the R&B side of our music at a level I'm comfortable with. I chose to stay with Arjay & Jazz until we are like where we are. I'm not discussing anything related to Arjay that me and him haven't already discussed. Yes Arjay did want his personal situation at first private, however that is not the case anymore. Their is in interview coming to the new site when it is finished where he plans to discuss his situation. Honestly I think these questions could've been asked in private, and the nature of your questions appear as though your trying discredit my statements like were doing an interview. If you have questions, you got my number, my email, it isn't like you don't know me. I've called you several times to chop it up, say what's up, or whatever. Last time I recall, I was trying to talk to you about doing some shows with us and I haven't heard anything back.
