an officer on my base thought cinco de mayo was just a hispanic heritage holiday, that alone shows you how much people celebrate that shit out here. i think i will hit up the only mexican food place on this island in honor of the day. there is no place like home tho. in watson they have a big ass carnival downtown which is cool to check out, that's what i'd do if i were home
