Pitch Bender Question

i got a Korg X3 and when i play a note live and bend it then it sounds coo,but when i record it and play it back the note doesnt bend.does anybody know what this shit means.it just happened all of the sudden,it used to work fine,now it doesnt....

I'm not familiar with the X3.....but on the Triton you have to turn the quantize off. Otherwise it will try to put the notes in time and fuck it all up.

that should be your problem... you have to do the pitch bend live wit just aout any machine

It's either auto-quantizing like D-Sane said or you are filtering out midi cc in your sequencer.

thanks for the input.i'll check on the filtering.its not the quantize cus it used to work on all quantize settings and with it off.i let my boy borrow it a few months back and since i got it back the bender wont work....but it always has worked even when you quantize it....

Maybe you need to re-calibrate it? I dunno.....just a thought.
