Hope everybody had a good holiday. Anyways first off I wanna give a big thanks to everybody that came out to support this event, it was given for a great cause. I know there was some tension and a little drama because of the police, but we got through the event with little to no problems, as far as the security and performances went. There could have been a better turn out of fans, but for an event one day before Christmas, I'd say it was good. And the industry turnout was great. I gotta give a huge thanks to the Bay Area Bosses who came out and donated their time and performances for this cause and event and for the holidays, including Dru Down, Lee Majors & Rahmean who lit up the stage with classics like "Pimp Of The Year," "I Got 5 On It," Messy Marv's "Get On My Hype" Remix, and other newer songs, Guce who had the place goin' crazy when he did "So Hood" with his Frisco comrad $ky Balla on stage with him, The Jacka of the Mob Figaz had the place rockin hard with "Hey Girl," "Barney," "Girls Say," and others, the OG Thizz Dancer himself B-Luv did "Cuttin It Up" even without Husalah in the building, Free Hus! Fed-X and Dubb 20 of the Ghetto Starz also got down. Much luv to the other acts that got down too like Verbal Taktiks, Gutta Raw, Blue Zone, Amon and Spyda-D. Shout to Showtime and the Hunid Racks Energy Drink fam for lacin up the event with some of that good Hustler$ drank! Shouts also to Sick Wid It Hogg B-Legit for comin out, and DJ Vlad, who is from the Bay, but lives in NY, who came through with DJ Backside, that was big. Anyways like I said, the event went pretty good, minus the police drama, the performances were good, and there was no bullshit, no fights, no problems.
I also want to apologize for the HEAVY police presence, because of the shit that happened at Burbon Street last week, they wanted to shut our event down before it could even take place, and the only reason they let us do it was if they were involved. There was only supposed to be a couple of them, but they came SUPER DEEP, 27 or more of them at one point, with the Sherrif's truck with the big ass Spotlight, and the paddy wagon, yellow taped off the parking lot and everything. So that was some bullshit, they were doin too damn much. So if people rolled by and didn't go to the show because of that, nothin we could do about it. Hopefully nobody got fucked with, I think people kept it pretty cool all night, so thanks to the people there also, artists and fans for not actin a fool and giving the cops a reason to show out.
