damn greatful none of my family was killed or injured back in PI! they live a hard ass life as it is and this shit is just heart breakin. prayers for all the samoan folks, indonesians, and erybody else feelin mothernature's wrath right now.

It's not only the physical damage but looking at those pictures I started to think... "How are these people going to find water to drink?" Because of all of the pollutants that have probably been washed into their water supplies... RIP to those who passed...

My girl's parents are from Rizal, its a province in some of those pics. We're sending over boxes of clothes/shoes tomorrow. Its crazy man, makes me feel like I don't really have the right to be complaining about shit out here!

my thoughts go out to them tho. I got a couple of filipino homies who are trippin out right now because they cant even get in contact with some of their fams. My girl got in contact with one of her cousins and he explained to her one of the scenarios that is pretty much the same as someone commented on the boston.com website.

He said it was like a nightmare at night. When there is no electricity, straight pitch black and your stuck on a roof. Hearing nothing but people desperately crying for help and its coming from all angles. not able to see shit but just hear them. Must be a crazy ass feeling!

my parents hometown got hit a few months earlier but it wasn't flood waters just a typhoon that tore up all the buildings in there. shit like their high school and homes, marine sanctuary. it was the first time it reached over there. they've been trying to rebuild since.

my heart goes out to all of those who've been affected. i'm hoping for the best for you all and your family.
