So, these are pretty much the first pics I've taken with my Nikon..

I don't know if anybody here will find them particularly interesting because it's just my friend & her man. (and no "inappropriate pictures").

But if anybody has any feedback I'd be interested in hearing it.

Nice shots...these look like you used a manual camera...hard to achieve that look with a digital...good stuff & nice lighting

ima sell my d40 in a minute and get a d80
they basically pay them selves back if u get paid for shoots
ive made like 4x what i paid for my camera and ive only had it for like a couple months i think

i didn't buy it myself; it was a gift. (graduation present from my family).

i don't know if i'm even planning on charging people for photography; for now it's just something i'm doing for fun.

plus it's also good for me as a graphic designer to start building my own library of stock images (backgrounds, textures, etc) that i can use in my designs.

how much do you charge people for photoshoots?
