PICKED UP THAT NEW CD... ALL I GOT TO SAY IS WOW, HOMIE PUT SOME TIME INTO THIS ONE. RAW BEATS AND RAPS TOO. HAS SOME COOL FEATURES, LYNCH COS LOKI, AND A FEW PEOPLE I NEVER HEARD OF... BUT PHONK BETA COULD STILL HOLD HIS OWN ON A TRACK. SOME OF IT HAS THAT LYNCH: LOADED TYPE OF SOUND TO IT. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THIS ALBUM, ITS THE BEST THING IVE HEARD IN A WHILE, WORTH THE MONEY. ANYBODY ELSE PICK IT UP?

Yeah I said some of the same good points about this album in my Album Review in the latest issue of XPLOSIVE MAGAZINE. Phonk Beta is surely underrated!

phonk's deffinitely my fav producer of all time...his sound is just so origional, on a whole nother level. way underrated...but i guess his style isnt for everybody, cuz i never hear artists say BETA when theyre listing producers they wanna work with.

when's that symplex comin out anyway? can't wait to hear that shit...

& yea, PhonkPhenomenon was hard, one of the best of 2005. Dark Album's supposed to be even better.

Beta put it on hold for a group album with one of the rappers featured on Phonkphenomenon. Forgot which one. Some NY cat as far as I remember. He also said that he gave his best beats to Lynch for DAAM...

We will see

^^^Sounds coo but honestly I expected a little something different for a proclaimed "Jazz" album. The improvisation sounds more bluesy then jazzy and there wasn't many chord progressions you'd expect for a jazz piece. Maybe I just been listening to too much Herbie Hancock latley :) Regardless Ill be checking out the album.

yea i feel that, tha loop was a little too simple & repetative for me...but i like the piano/improve alot, & i'ma definitely pick this up when it comes out. i kno there'll be tracks on the album i'm feelin more. nice cover too.
