Ok so I just got back from watching Spider-Man 3. Good movie lots of action.

Anyways I'm sitting back watching the film and every other second there's someone checking their cell phone, sending a text and what not. The bright light of the phone is enough to catch anyone's attention. I'll peep my phone on the side or dim the brightness if I need but I don't hold my phone up in the air for everyone to see.

My question is WTF is so important for people to be doing that?

I don't mind that heads check their phones while being inconspicuous... but why do people hold it out infront of their face, so everyone else can see, like they can't tilt their head down.

I put my shit on silent, but I do be checking my shit and occassionally send texts, but I do that shit by my lap. I haven't paid for a movie in hella long, but even when I get in free I gotta have no random ass distractions...what really pisses me off is when people kick the back of my seat, makes me wanna killamuthafuckinhoe

How about people who commentate during the film? My ex was notorious at this, hella embarrassing!!

I can live without my phone for the span of movie I don't about kids these days.

In France they've implemented cell phone disruptors that block out reception from people in the theaters. I wish we had that but people have already said thumbs down in the USA due to emergencies.

I use it during the movie if I have to. I try to keep it to the side. My phone brightness is already down anyway, and my phone isn't bright to begin with. I like to sit in the back too. The light from phones being on never really bothered me, unless it stays on for a while, or it's very bright.

aint nothing in the world important enough that you have to be on your phone or text during a movie.....if it is that important like an emergency than your ass shouldnt be sitting in the theatre anyways you should be getting up and leaving to handle your business.....but to sit there for 2 hours texting weirdo messages to a broad you like is ridiculous....

but then again im not too big a fan of texting to begin with....i think its kinda stupid most of the time and its things like this that prove it....
