The show I used to watch as a kid with the characters Larry Appleton and Balki Bartokomous finally came out on DVD today. I went and bought it immediately. Ever since they started releasing TV shows on DVD, this has been the one I have been wanting them to release on DVD, I guess mainly because you can't find reruns on anywhere. Time to sit and enjoy.

that's tight. i remember that was part of the TGIF friday thing with family matters and some other shows. brings back memories

No shit? I'm going to Best Buy tommorow to pick up The Assassination of Jesse James... and I have some extra cash so I'll pick up that too. I'm guessing it's just the first season? Or maybe first two seasons in one? I love that show too.

I just picked up the first season of Fraggle Rock used for $10.00 a couple days ago. I was watching that shit yesterday and I swear the fools that made that show were smoking some good stuff.

I still remember the episode where the basement flooded, and Larry used his science kit to blow the door up and escape. LMFAO!!!!

oh shit, i've been waiting for this one to come to dvd (that, & Dinosaurs..which has a few seasons on dvd now) ..who tha fuck is larry appleton tho??? i always jus called him courson laddy when i was little, just like balki did

Hahahahaha! I'll agree with that. I haven't seen an episode since it was still being run on the air with new episodes, so I vaguely remember any. I remember an episode where Balki is playing golf and is swinging the club in circles over his head like a helicopter propellor and hitting all of these hole-in-ones. I also remember this Halloween episode where Larry dreams everyone who is wearing a vest has had their body taken over by an alien. I also remember that the woman who played Larry's girlfriend Jennifer in the show was fine as fuck.

By the way, it is the first two seasons of the show with 28 episodes total. It also says on the back that the show was on for 8 seasons, so I can look forward to 6 more DVD sets being released. It's $25 this week at Best Buy.
