With all this Oden talk, I was reminded about this guy's career. Imagine what would have happened if injuries didn't fuck over his career.


Dude was like a Kobe/T-Mac/Dwade wrapped into one package.

i actually never understood what happened to dude. so he got injured? i just hella remember the lil penny commercials and using him in nba jam a lot.

A bad injury that never healed properly, like Grant Hill's. All I remember is that he vanished at some point between the late 90s-early/mid 2000s. He appeared in Phx at some point between then, then appeared for like 6 minutes on the Heat a year or 2 ago.

i nevere knew what happened to grant hill either. thats odd that 2 players that kind of fell off the map had two of the illest shoes ever.

penny was raw. my favorite playing growing up. i got hella penny cards and im rockin his shoes a lot lately.

i believe he had microfracture knee surgery. and at the time that surgery was pretty much career ending. nowadays its a little bit easier to come back from since the surgery has been performed more often. i think amare, grant hill, penny, allen houston, t-mac all had this surgery.

so you can see the older players in this list had the surgergy before it was a more perfected as it is now. that surgergy wiped out a lot of players careers
