i seen this hella long ago. the only criticism i have about the show in general is that they get people who are hella smart and well spoken to prove their point and they get people who may or may not be smart, but sound like morons to try to oppose their view. altho the show is pretty entertaining and true most times, its very one sided.

this was the first Penn and Teller I've ever seen... its kinda common knowledge that the bible is far from historic.

I saw a video talking about how the christian cult split during the roman day over the whole philosophy of whether it was "Actual Events" or "Moral Stories" ... Roman empire ended siding with the "Actual literal interpretation" century's later people believe the folklore is fact.

I'm not a christian but believe in some sort of higher power... I don't know if I believe in it because I want to hope there's life after death, and I have been programmed as a child to think there is a higher power... OR maybe I believe cause I feel connect to a higher power, and the energies that surround us daily.

Would you still believe in "some sort of higher power" if you weren't raised in a religious society?

But why do all society seem to worship or have the philosophy of some sort of god?... long before Christianity this has been the case... seems like people get drawed to something when in

but why are we trusting people 1000 years ago like they knew any better... not sure how people can believe in the bible literally

I won't lie drugs have got me to believe in greater energies but then again I could just be high... weird when you feel plugged in
