4 year 50mil. Hasn't been anounced yet.

I don't know about everyone else but this kind of shit just makes me wonder if players care about winning any more. It's one thing for a player to go from a subpar to a lesser team for more money, but when you go from a championship team to the Mets, it says you don't care about winning a championship and only play for the money.

WHY WOULD HE DO THIS?

The only excuse is that Boston pushed him out but I havent heard anything on that

thats easy, cause no one else was offering him anywhere near 4 years. he has been declining a lot and cannot pitch more than 7 innings. by the 3-4th year, he'd only be able to go 5 at best

his shoulder is questionable. the Mets are taking a big chance.

i am a Pedro fan from back in his days with the Dodgers and wish him well, but but i think 4 years GUARANTEED is a bit much.

hope the Mets dont find themselves in the same boat they have been in with Mo Vaugn, Roberto Alomar, Mike Piazza, Floyd and other big name signees.

alote of big time producers have signed with the Mets and have done miserably after signing with them.
