For those with a more open mind the documentary, titled "The War of the World: A New History of the 20th Century" contains three parts and is a companion to the best-selling book, "The War of the World: Twentieth Century Conflict and the Descent of the West" by Harvard and Oxford historian Niall Ferguson. The one-hour Part One of the documentary premieres Monday night at 10 on PBS. The other two parts air the following two Mondays. World War II is the focus of Part Two.

Monday June 30 kicks off as a study of WWII begins with a look at ethnic, economic and social issues that may have led to the start of the war. 10 pm eastern time.

I just got that book in the mail last week. Damn I didnt know they made a documentary. I'll have to check it out.

i guess there's a lot to talk about.
hmm. i'll check out the documentary, but sometimes you just can't cover enough, like you can in a book.
