It has also been reported that you guys now have state of the art video surveillance. :)
well we didnt have them for the both times we faced ur team so....

haha, they only youngins they hebe is james sanders and jared mayo
nah man we got some new kids just coming up just that no1 knows it yet. chad jackson and Meriweather will be the surprises this year.

still doesnt make up for losing asante samuel
hahahaha. look dont get me wrong asante was damn good but we got so many cb's right now we dont even know what to do with them. i bet anything meriweather will be a better cb than asante, i can just tell so IMO thats his place filled with ease. every single time meriweather was on the feild he was part of a huge tackle or a nice break up pass. his only problem was catching the ball and no1 really noticed that but in an interview he said he worked on that ALOT. so if he has his hands good he will beast

i think chad jackson should fill in for stallworth pretty well.

i know a florida receivers don't really turn out that great in the nfl, but from all the florida receivers that went to the nfl, i think chad jackson has the most potential.

as for having a lot of cornerbacks, all i have to say, is that i'd rather have quality over quantity. as of now, the patriots don't have quality. brandon meriweather might be a nice hybrid cornerback and safety, but safety is his natural position...

although the linebackers are aging, i gotta say, rookies jerod mayo, shawn crable, and bo ruud could be a solid group in the future, when tedy bruschi, mike vrabel, and adalius thomas' careers are over.

the best unit of the patriots defense has to be the defensive line, which has a nice mix of proven veterans.

Shanahan is no fool, theres a reason the Broncos released him
well i can flip and say belichick is no fool and theres a reason we picked him up. how many "washed up" players come to us and turn out good? wasnt randy washed up? or how bout dillon? even seau had a good couple years with us.

on the meriweather comment, u cant say that his natural position is safety when he only played it once in the NFL. SOOOO many ppl change there positions in the NFL for the best usually. he's fast and strong just like asante was. all he needs to prove is that he can catch catchable balls.

on the LB comment, adalius isnt old at all man. he got some good solid years in him and if u watched him progressed over the season he was just getting better and better. his best performance was in the SB and his worst was game 1. yeah i'm excited to see these rookies play and with the big contract we gave mayo there has to be something with this kid that only belichick can see until game day.

on the DL comment, i agree 100% our dline been getting better and better every year. even when our defense was shitty our dline was unstoppable and was the best at stopping the run. i think we were the best last year as well but i'm not too sure on that.

Lynch is one of the best tacklers.........but he is a serious liability in pass coverage........you will see as the season starts
i know all about lynch. see if we picked him up and gave him even 5 mill i would be a lil upset. but 1 year for 1 mill i dont think much can go wrong. stick him in there for short yardage plays for blitz and james sanders can come in for the rest. i hope thats wat we do.

all i know is our defense has definatly improved since last year, we lost a good cb but picked up soooo many other defensive parts and most have talent. and our offense has stayed the same pretty much but now we have chad jackson who has height, speed and great ST capabilitie as well.

meriweather's natural position is safety. he's been playing safety since high school, and when he went to miami, although he saw some action @ cornerback in nickel/dime packages. i understand many players make position changes, that's nothing new to me. and i'm not saying he'll be a bad cornerback either, because in the limited time he's played cornerback, he's done a good job. as i said, he's a versatile hybrid cornerback/safety type player.

and as far as adalius not being old, well, he's 30, and he's definitely not young in terms of an nfl player. he has a couple good years left in him, it's too bad he started playing at a high level late in his career when he was a baltimore raven.
