I dont believe in the war he went to fight in.. or the government he was defending.. but I commend his bravery (and yes, you cannot deny that he is a brave man) and commitment.

HE WAS BRAINWASHED BY THE BUSH PROPAGANDA MACHINE AND DIED FOR IT....HE IS NOT A HERO...HE WAS KILLED BY FRIENDLY FIRE...A HERO IN WAR DIES SAVING HIS PLATOON OR TAKING OUT A LARGE NUMBER OF ENEMIES AGAINST LARGE ODDS OR RESCUES SOMEONE FROM DEATH....HE WAS A MEDIOCRE NFL PLAYER AS WELL....IF HE DIDNT GO OVER THERE,WE WOULD HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM AND HE PROBABLY WOULD BE OUTTA THE LEAGUE BY NOW...

I’m not trying to get into this again but I think there is a very fine line between being a hero and being an idiot. IMO, this guy was the latter.

^^And you know he didnt save some innocent people over there?? And he may have been a mediocre NFL player but you gotta be damn good to even get to the NFL. And no knows how he woulda done if he came back or didnt go at all, and thats the truth. He had alot more guts then alot of us.

You’ve been a dick in almost all of your posts recently.

Listen, I’m not trying to be an ass but IMO Pat Tillman was nothing more than a dimwitted reactionary who joined something he had no knowledge about and ended up getting killed and left his family to mourn. IMO, that shouldn’t deserve anyone’s respect.

he knew what he was doing. he came froma military family. he left millions of dollars to go put his life on the line for his country. if you guys hate america so much, just leave. please.

PERSONALLY, I dont THINK he did know what he was doing. I think he was a complete reactionary. If he did know anything, he would have known the war in afganistan was a fraud and had nothing to do with 9/11. Same goes for the Iraq war, which he was apart of. If he knew what he was doing, and he knew that he was being part of modern US Imperialism, then I say a big Fuck You to Pat Tillman. If he didnt know what he was apart of, then it proves my point that he was an idiot. Regardless, not worthy of any respect from 2-0-Sixx.
