password reset?

What's poppin? My uncle worked for an apt. complex and found a playstation 2 and had no use for it and gave it to me, BUT I tried to watch a DVD on it and it had that parental lock on it. Does anyone know how to reset this? I opened it up hoping to find a reset button on the processor but there wasn't one. Thanks

dont you have to put 00000 or something like that? sorry iono i havent touched a ps2 in years

first insert a dvd movie(any),go to setup and access the parental control settings when asked for your code simply enter this 4 digit code "7444"; It will prompt you again to type in your password now type "0000". scroll down to the movie rating options to where you are highlighting the word "off"
