NFL commissioner Roger Goodell handed out the first suspensions under his discipline policy, banning Adam "Pacman" Jones for the entire 2007 season and Chris Henry for eight regular-season games.
The two players are suspended without pay for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy and engaging in conduct detrimental to the league on numerous occasions, the NFL announced.
After they serve their suspensions, each player must apply for reinstatement.
"We must protect the integrity of the NFL," Goodell said. "The highest standards of conduct must be met by everyone in the NFL because it is a privilege to represent the NFL, not a right. These players, and all members of our league, have to make the right choices and decisions in their conduct on a consistent basis."

you serious? he hasnt even been charged with anything in LV....police wanted to charge him but the DA said there is not enough evidence
pacman gets a year and henry gets 8 games
pacman=10 "run in with the laws" BUT no conviction
henry=4 convictions (found guilty etc)

im not sayin he didnt deserve shit........im sayin on what bases did they suspened him for a year and henry for 8 games.....with out convictions....do you get fired from work (assuming youve had a job before) when you are question by police.....but DONT have a anything new on your record since when you started your job?

actually moore.....if you get arrested (even without convictions or trials) more than a few times...alot of jobs WILL fire you because they cannot keep wondering if yo uwill be coming in or not.
He needs to get himself out of those situations and there wouldn't be a problem! wheres theres smoke theres fire, and even if he isn't 100% involved...he needs to understand playing in the nfl is a provlage NOT A RIGHT!

im not arugeing if or if not hes a great person.....it isnt about that.....this is about goddell making a statement outta someone at the price of a winning/losing season of a team.....

He is a professional athlete. If he wants the money and fame that come with that then he needs to act in a proper manner.
Like I said the nfl is a privlage not a right, and anyone who wants to play thier needs to be held to a higher standard than the normal public joe blow!
If he wants the money and fame get rid of those around you causing the problems...if he still wants to act a fool..see ya go work somewhere that allows it
