overseas shipping from the US

I have a question for sellers who ship from the US to say the UK. Is there a somewhat cheap way of shipping international from the US and having tracking information. The postal service seems to charge like 40 bucks for that, so I'm wondering if there are other cheaper options. Or maybe the postal service isn't tellin me something.

2 ways only, USPS registered mail with a return receipt or USPS Express Mail international. First Class and even Global Priority don't have tracking unfortunately.

registered is not even 100% on tracking I have had quite a few issues with it, I am going to start up my own website to sell cds on I am sick and tired of ebay and all the issues I have had with just stupid bull shit and getting nickle and dimed on everything
