I haven't said shit thus far. I knew Ryan as a human, plus as a rapper and businessman. My heart broke when I heard what happened. He and I were born about a month apart, me being the one slightly older. I always knew he was a big fan of the same rap as I was, I.E. Cold World Hustlers, Totally Insane, Cougnut, etc. About 2 months ago, I asked Ryan to be apart of Known Associates part 2, something he had already laid a verse for ( "Cash" by all of 11/5 and Wood ). Besides Big Oso on this site, Wood was the only dude that appreciated what I have been trying to accomplish since me and Coug (RIP) started this label in 98.

Let me get this out of the way - I was never a huge fan of Wood's music. He knew that and respected that opinion. However, I was the first one to petition for him and his folks to get up here on our radio station and get heard due to the realness that he and his partners were laying down. ( On a side story for kicks, Wood couldn't stop cussing on the air. I have it on tape, I kept saying "Bruh, we're on the air!!" )

This was not only a soldier, but a kind hearted soul, a business man, a mentor and a friend to many. If he were here, he would attest to the fact that he was invited to everyone of Apt.3/DNA Ent's shows, he always had a VIP waiting at the door because the man deserved it. He emailed me two days before his passing and I wish to everything that I would have offered him more than I did.

Rest In Pease Folks.
