When ya'll go out on the town to the club and shit, what do you do? Any club I've been to plays mainstream rap. So do you just sit there and pout since its not on techs level or do you go an getcha groove on and have a good time? Seriously as much as half of the people on here bitch and moan about lil wayne, nas, and any other SUCCESSFUL emcee I'd think you just sit there and get all butthurt instead of chasin some tail and havin fun. Just becuase Tech said FTI 6 years ago doesnt mean you guys have to absolutely hate everything on mtv or the radio.

I for one am not a big mainstream rap fan at all but alot of you people go waaaaay overboard with the shit. Had a few drinks tonight and thought this would be a good question...

hahaha...thats a good question...shit im definately not a big fan of most mainstream rap (if u can call most of it that) like soulja boy an that but they definately do make great club beats an shit that make the chickenheads dance iand i definately don mind bein right there wit em..and im at the clubs every weekend...but i dont do that stupid soulja boy dance w/e its called i laugh at the people who do there haha

That's a good point bro.

It's sad too because Tech has plenty of club songs, but it's the same ole story, lack of promotion is killing him.

Same here man. But im startin to think half of this board would sit there pissed cuz all they do is say ah fuck the industry. Whether they play Tech N9ne, Soulja boy, 2pac, mistah fab, lil wayne, i dont care imma have a good time and listen to some REAL shit on the way home..or on the way to I HOP

Nas excluded i hate ALOT of mainstream and thats just how i feel. but when i'm at the club or at a party i'm not there to listen to music so i can care less what there playing. i can go to a fucking rock show/party and if theres a bitch i'm eyein then i'll headbang and try to impress her and get her back to my place. so when i my objective is too listen to music i say fuck ALL mainstream with a couple exceptions. when my objective is to get a lil tipsy and find a girl then i say put on whatever she likes so she feels comfortable.

I don't go clubbin' because I'm a homebody. The wife and I spend enough on bills as it is, we don't need to waste our money on drinkin' and partyin' with random people.

if i had a wife or kid i wouldnt go clubbin either. theres no reason too. and clubbin does suck but when times are desperate times are desperate. i enjoy house parties over clubs any day

Yep. we'll have friends over when work schedules permit. Other than that we watch movies at home. We didn't buy a 61" TV for nothin' lol.

Clubs > house parties (sorry man...)

I personally would rather listen to mainstream at a party then most tech songs... Only time i listen to mainstream is at clubs so it sounds catchy, its good background/dance music / w/e.

I used to mix in tech songs at my house parties but bitches would complain and want some lame ass whistle song or some shit half the time, I prefer good vibes over good music.

Good one. Obviously, the point of my post is that clubs are fucking gay. I got clubs out of my system when I was 16-17, and it was lame then.

Then again, most of you are just figuring out what ecstasy is.
