Korn
Sean Lennon's Into The Sun

I liked the new GNR album as well, to be more recent.
Die Antwoord has been hot in my playlist for a minute.

I liked the new GNR album as well, to be more recent.

And that's all I got, all based on nostalgia purposes. Those are albums that I actually enjoyed listening to in full, and thought most were artistically amazing.

For the past year I've been trying to make my way through my entire hip hop CD collection. I have problem two dozen CD's I've never even listened to and twice that many that I've listened to maybe once or twice. I haven't even got to the C's yet. Recently it was...

Brand Nubian's first 4 albums
BDP's catalog
A few other semi-obscure hip hop albums

So, I'm either listening to those or new ish.

Jay Rock
Talib Kweli - Gutter Rainbows
Kendrick Lamar
Tech
Bad Meets Evil
Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee

I also made it through most of the Bob Dylan discography from 63-75, the 4 CD James Brown compilation I have, and the 4 Will Smith CDs on a road trip from Missouri to Nebraska and back.

Uno as i look at these list i cant help but notice that most of the music we listen to are from familiar artist and its mainly a bit older.

Is there no new tech n9nes coming up ? No new Vinnie Paz ? Nothing unique and excellent that draws you in instantly ? Im starting to think there's nothing "new" out there and we already have found the best artist lol

Immortal Technique - Revolutionary and Vol. 2 especially
Mellowhype - BlackenedWhite & Yellow/White
Ronald Jenkees
Slim Thug

Twisted Insane
Tyler The Creator

Those are most of the artists I've listened to recently, some left out due to already being mentioned in this thread or pretty much being on everyone else's lists.

I'm pretty solid in the fact that there's nothing doper than Tech... I'm never gonna hear something on the radio and go "Oh shit this is the new dope shit".

The only thing I'm listening to these days is Tech, MC, Die Antwoord, and random old rock like Tool, Guns, Korn, Fear Factory.

I STRONGLY recommend the Sean Lennon album for anyone who want's to smoke and chill. And that 4 Non-Blondes is a fucking classic.

For those that don't know, the singer of 4 Non Blondes (Linda Perry) went on to write pop hits that you hear to this day, including Pink (Get the Party Started, Lonely Girl) and Christina Aguilera (Beautiful). The woman is a fucking genius and that album should be a must listen for any fan of music.

^ a crazy combination of music lol
Uh... That's just Floyd and Juggalo shit. Not that crazy. Don't give that stupid fuck too much credit.
