Here Is Something That We Havent Discussed In The Froum And At Least This Is Educational.......What Do YOU Think The Chances Are Of A Tornado Hitting The KC Metro Area Are?

damn, i was scared, i got on here when i woke up and saw all this talk about tornados....i've been through 2 tornados.

Smithville 2002 the tornado was "downtown" smithville, i lived 3 blocks away
Gladstone 2003 the tornado ripped through gladstone, i live right across the highway.

I'm ready for 2004 bitches!

Shit, atleast you guys aren't me. Saturday night we had our worst storm in the state of Nebraska's history. We had the harderst and longest flood warning and tornado warnings. That night there were over 30 tornadoes recorded during the one storm.

It was so severe that it completely leveled an entire town and its not even in existance anymore. Shit was very bad.

I LIVE OUT IN SOUTH K.C. (6 BLOCKS AWAY FROM 7TH HEAVEN) NO TORNADO IS HITTING HERE SIMPLY BECAUSE OF WE HAVE TOO MANY TREES.. IF YALL DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEAN RESEARCH..

my gramma lives right on state line, in KC,MO, johnson county, w. 116th street....and when i visited there...4 years ago, first night i was out there, a tornado came within 15 miles of us.(i been out there since). i was born out there and raised in cali, and its so funny cuz there are never thunderstorms or anything out in cali.

once, when i was 12...that would be 6 years ago, we went to worlds of fun. about 4 o clock in the afternoon, huge storm rolls in, and the sky is straight purple, and i was on the Timberwolf. they stopped the ride after ours, and they closed the park, but didnt want people to panic, so they had one guy in a golf cart drive family by family to their car. people were just sittin under trees with hail between the size of golfballs and baseballs (no joke) just slammin people. then cuz too many people were waitin on the side of the parking lot, they made us hide in all the candy shops and gift shops. shit was ridiciulous. it took us two hours to get outta there.

i love KC more than anything, and especially the weather. and i live in the bay area, a mediterranean climate.

I was out there in 93 we had to stay in the airport cuz one was real close and then on the same trip that day one went over the mall we were at......... So don't even try to say they don't happen in KC I was there for two of em!
